Ubon Thai Victorian Inn & Restaurant

The food was disappointing, and there was a piece of plastic about the size of a nickel in the drunk noodle. The entrance is around back and was hard to find. Both inside and outside, the building is in very poor shape. We didn’t feel safe and ended up throwing our food away. I’m shocked the health and building inspectors allow the establishment to remain open. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The mango sticky rice was so good I had to close my eyes after the first bite and savor it. It was warm, fresh, and sweet. We also split crispy duck, served quickly with broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, and onions in a delicious sauce. The duck stayed crispy under the sauce, and white rice came on the side. My best friend and I shared it and were still full afterward. We started with four soft Thai dumplings and a really flavorful sauce, and I had the best Thai tea I’ve ever tasted, sweet, rich, and cold. We found the place on Google while looking for lunch. At the entrance, we rang the bell and were seated. The man who seated and served us was extremely nice, and joked that next time we should squeeze the chicken to let them know we’d arrived 😂. The whole place felt sweet and cozy, and the staff were welcoming. We’ll be back!

There was just one staff member, a really sweet guy, so we had to wait. The food was delicious, though, and it was well worth it. We were glad we stopped in and will come back.

It was a quiet day, and we were the only ones in the restaurant, so we had our own waiter. The food was all very good, and he was awesome. No complaints.
