Hotel Stevenson

I was in town to buy a boat, after the owner of Ocean Flight surf skis and kayaks recommended this hotel. It's a great classic boutique hotel. My room was tastefully decorated and had all the modern conveniences I wanted, including good Wi-Fi, a pod coffee maker, A/C, an auxiliary heater, and keyless entry. The breakfast bistro serves great food.

The owners were friendly and helpful the whole time, and checking in and out was the easiest I've ever experienced at a hotel. My husband and I were visiting a local friend and loved staying at Hotel Stevenson. It's easy to walk almost anywhere from here, with a great bookstore across the street and lots of places nearby for dinner or a drink. We also had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. We'll be back!

We stayed just one night, and I wish we'd had more time. The hotel is super sweet, with cozy decor and atmosphere. We were downstairs and could hear people walking around above us, but it didn't bother us much. We ate at the bistro twice and liked the food. The only real downside was the Nespresso lattes, which were pretty terrible. Still, we loved the stay and will return.

We enjoyed a glass of wine out on the patio during our visit to explore the Columbia River Gorge waterfalls and Lewis & Clark historic sites. The old hotel was completely rebuilt during Covid, and the owners did a good job.
