As someone who also owns a bed and breakfast, I really admire what you’ve put together at Stay in Stillwater. The downtown rentals, especially the riverview condo and historic carriage house, combine comfort and character in a great location. Such a lovely way to experience Stillwater.

The room itself was nice, though the floor creaked a lot, and the bathroom having no door was still a bit odd even though we knew about it beforehand. The neighborhood was peaceful and the location was great. We didn’t use the pool because it was green, or the balcony, which was overgrown with vines and didn’t look like the posted photos. The first floor was being renovated and couldn’t be used, and the overflowing trash containers by the parking area made a poor first impression. We never met the owners, only communicated by text. Maybe it’ll be nice after renovations, but I’m not sure we’d stay again.

The pool was the highlight of this lovely house, so private and beautiful. My sister and I spent plenty of time by it reading, drinking, swimming, laughing, and talking. We had one of our best getaways in a long time. Our room was great, with a huge, comfortable king bed, a hot tub, a wonderfully ornate sink, a fridge, and a microwave. There was wine, apple juice, and water in the fridge, plus two chocolate bars waiting for us. The house itself is amazing. Breakfast at the Lowell Inn was excellent, and the staff were so friendly. I’d highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Thanks for a great time. :-)

The gardens were beautiful, and having a pool at a B&B was a real treat. We couldn’t have breakfast because Lowell Inn wasn’t open on Monday. I’d read about the great snacks, but we only found one small airplane-size bag of peanuts and one of trail mix. We weren’t there for snacks, though. More bottles of water would’ve been nice.

Gary was a super friendly, helpful innkeeper, and the room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for us. We stayed in the Bordeaux suite for my girlfriend’s cousin’s wedding. The beautiful grounds feel like a step back in time, and there were water, wine, juice, and snacks waiting when we arrived, replenished the next day. Just know the whirlpool tub is out in the open, and there’s no shower, so you bathe in the tub in the middle of the room. The toilet has no door, either. Fine if you’re comfortable with your travel partner, but not if you aren’t. Thank God I didn’t come with my mother! Haha. Otherwise, you’ll love the place and breakfast at the Lowell Inn. Thanks again to Gary for the hospitality. I’d definitely come back.
