We brought our pup to The Italian Place, which was a big plus. Bellissimo was spotless and roomy, with a very comfortable bed, kitchen, dining table, and large sofa. Our stay was short and sweet, and we’ll definitely return. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the kitchenette, fire pit, and patio, but hopefully next time.

Bill and Amber were gracious hosts, and we can’t wait to plan another stay in one of their beautifully decorated private cottages. We loved the quiet, cozy setting at the Italian Place Bed and Breakfast in Stonewall, Texas. Breakfast was delicious and served at our convenience, with generous, filling portions. The sausage quiche was especially good. It’s just minutes from Fredericksburg and Luckenbach for shopping, with several wineries nearby.

Our host was incredibly kind after our car broke down on the way into town. She took us to the repair shop the next day so we could pick it up when it was ready. We stayed two nights over Memorial Day in the Bueno Serra, and the room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a kitchenette that had a decent-sized mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave. Breakfast was delicious: yogurt, fruit, muffins, and fresh peaches from the tree out back one morning. The B&B grounds are charming, and next time we’ll make time for wine on the patio. It’s about 15 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg and just a few moments from wineries we like, including Baron's Creek and Grape Creek/Heath. We look forward to returning.

Amber made us feel like family as soon as we met her, and she made the stay a wonderful experience. It was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be back. Our room had everything we could ask for, including a small kitchen and bathroom, and the bed was so comfortable I wished I had one like it at home. Thank you so much, Amber.

We stayed in Amoré, the two-bedroom suite, which was stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, and even robes. The cottage is spacious enough for a small gathering and has a large flat-screen TV, fireplace, and acoustic guitar. Seasonal and holiday decorations add charm, and the back courtyard has a grill and small fireplace for relaxing outside when the weather allows. Breakfast was delivered in the evening and offered plenty of variety: fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, granola, moist muffins, plus breakfast burritos one morning and quiche the next. Everything was delicious. This is a homey B&B in the heart of wine country, great for couples or small groups of friends, and each room has its own character. We can’t wait to stay again.
