Brass Lantern Inn

Morning coffee by the back windows, watching the sun hit Stowe, was a beautiful start to the day. Don and Andrew have made this place feel like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and warm. We were early ski birds and missed breakfast, but got a to-go breakfast each day. The afternoon treats waiting on the table after skiing were delicious, too. We had family time in the living area and played Monopoly on the arcade table. Now I want one! We’d recommend it to anyone visiting Stowe who wants a place to stay without the feel of a hotel.

We stayed three nights at the Brass Lantern and had a wonderful time. Breakfasts were fantastic, distinctive, and good for you. They also accommodated my dietary needs without compromising on flavor. The room felt comfortable in both temperature and ambiance.

The owners were welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast each morning was delicious, homemade, farm to table food. We had a small room, but it was clean and quaint, with lovely views of Mt Mansfield. Downtown Stowe, its shops, restaurants, and breweries were close by. I’d happily stay again.

Don and Andrew pay attention to the little things, and you notice it as a guest. The bathroom had all the toiletries you might need, and breakfast was fresh, with a changing menu tailored to each guest’s dietary needs. My boyfriend and I had a sweet little stay, and we were already talking about coming back as soon as we drove away.
