The inn has a charming feel, and the little lobby worked well for an evening with our group of nine. We ordered pizza, hung out, and played games there. We shared a room with our girls, with one queen and one king sized bed. There was plenty of space for four people and all our ski gear, though the bathroom was on the small side. The pool and hot tub were great after a day on the mountain, and we also enjoyed brunch at the attached restaurant, which had a nice selection.

A valuable piece of jewelry was stolen from my bag after my room was cleaned during our February 25th through March 1st stay at Grey Fox Inn. I should have checked the reviews more carefully before booking. There had been a theft here on February 9th, just weeks before our visit, and a police report was filed. The person at the front desk was unhelpful, and nothing was done to assist me. Do not stay here. Your valuables will be stolen. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

The management has been delightful to deal with, and I’m enjoying my stay a lot. It’s a very well-run place. My efficiency suite is clean, quiet, and handy. Both pools are well maintained, and there’s a picturesque paved walking path behind the property.

The room was spacious, updated, and very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location was convenient. The restaurant was good, and its staff were friendly too. Food is made to order, so it takes a while.

The staff are really kind and respectful, and the rooms are excellent for the price. Stowe Mountain is about 10 to 15 minutes away, depending on traffic.
