The Lavender Room's giant jacuzzi and comfy balcony overlooking the front garden were my favorite parts. The house is ornate and well cared for, with lots of original woodwork and craftsmanship you don't see much anymore. Robin told us it was built in the first decade of the 19th century. This was my first B&B stay, though my partner had been to one before, and it was delightful. Robin's breakfasts felt like the kind of loving meals your own grandma would make, and she had useful suggestions for places to visit around Door County. I highly recommend Garden Gate for a personal, comfortable stay that supports someone who lives in the area instead of another AirB&B investment property with uncertain local ties. Thanks, Robin!!

Robyn made us feel right at home, and the stay was queer friendly. Breakfast was a several-course meal each morning, with juice, coffee, yogurt, fruit, and a delicious main dish. She even packed a muffin for each of us to take along. We enjoyed talking with the other guests around the shared table, so it's a fun choice if you like being social. Our room had the jacuzzi and was the biggest one. It was so nice, and Robyn was a lovely host.

Robin welcomed my husband and me like family as soon as we arrived. She was attentive and clearly cares about making guests' stays memorable. The room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was hearty and delicious, made with obvious care. I can't say enough about this charming B&B. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a warm, comfortable stay and wonderful hospitality.

The restored house is over 100 years old and beautifully kept, and Robin was a gracious hostess who knows Door County well. We tried a couple of her restaurant and activity suggestions and were glad we did. Breakfasts were homemade and exquisite, and she also made a delightful chocolate cake for dessert in the evenings. The other guests were friendly, and we enjoyed chatting over breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garden Gate Bed & Breakfast!

The house and room were beautiful, and VERY clean. Cleanliness matters most to me, and I could tell a lot of attention had gone into it. Robin made me feel like a friend dropping by, even though this was my first BNB. Breakfast was divine. I may compare every breakfast I have for the rest of my life to the ones at Garden Gate. I'll certainly return on my next Door County visit.
