The friendly, helpful staff are why I bumped this up to 3.5. The room was clean, the beds felt great after a long drive, and I couldn’t hear other rooms, so hopefully nobody had to listen to my kids either. The motel is a bit run down and needs some basic upkeep. The shower needs recaulking, a tile is cracked, and the wall-mounted TV has loose hanging cords, an easy fix that’s being ignored. We brought a fire stick for the kids, but the remote couldn’t change the TV input. I liked the laminate floor since spills and stains weren’t a worry, though there were obvious air pockets where it hadn’t been laid properly.

The bed was clean and comfortable, which was a nice surprise since I often have trouble with motel beds. The room was clean too, and I liked the shower. This was my first time in Sumner, and I chose the Inn because I was on a tight budget. The woman who checked me in was funny and friendly. I’d come back here.

We spent five days at Summer Motor Inn and had a fantastic stay. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything was right. Our spotless room had a super comfortable bed, and the customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend if you want a cozy, clean, welcoming place!

Rooms have the basics you need, including a fridge and microwave, and they were clean. The property is older, but it worked well for budget-conscious travelers looking for comfort and easy access. Sumner Motor Inn is good value and conveniently located, with exceptionally friendly, helpful staff who made the stay pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it for a simple, welcoming stay.

The bedding was clean, and the staff were really kind and helpful. For service I’d give five stars. It’s budget accommodation, so I wasn’t surprised to see staff loading piles of belongings from the room next door. A quick place to stop and rest.
