Motel 6 Suwanee, GA - Gwinnett Center

I was exhausted after driving and had only slept two hours the night before, so when we arrived around 1 a.m. I didn’t think to inspect the bed. The next day I spotted a disgusting stain on the sheet. Most of the room had been clean, but that was enough to ruin it. We only needed somewhere to sleep on the way to NC, and I’ve always said it doesn’t need to be fancy, just clean. Since we arrived late, they’d already charged my card. I expected that, but they wouldn’t let me switch to a different card at check-in. At most hotels, there’s just an authorization and changing cards before checkout is fine, but not here. When the owner heard about the sheets, he just said okay. He didn’t apologize or seem concerned. I wasn’t asking for compensation, just a little care. I’d never stay here again.

A restful stay, with a comfortable bed and sheets, spacious room, and big TV. The staff were friendly, and the highway was close by without being right on top of us.

The room was very clean, including the beds and the spotless hard floors, and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. They provided soap, but no shampoo or conditioner. The AC was off when I arrived, then worked great once I turned it on. I slept well, and although pets are allowed, I neither saw nor heard any. I was in John’s Creek for a function and called the front desk to reserve an affordable room. It was an easy transaction. Booking through the Motel 6 website might save a few more dollars, though the price I got was the best deal around. The man at the desk was friendly and seemed to keep a close watch on the place. Cameras cover the area, and there’s a police station nearby. Wendy’s and Taco Bell are among the nearby restaurants, with Cracker Barrel right next door. There was a drink machine and ice machine on my floor. The hallways could use air conditioning. If you’re looking for an affordable place, this feels like a hidden gem.

I’ve stayed in a few places around Atlanta while trying to find my regular spot for the work week. This one feels clean, comfortable, and safe, and the staff are amazing. Mr. Rupal was especially helpful and checked that my room was acceptable after I got settled in. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, and housekeeping is efficient. Staff keep an eye on the parking lot and property, so I never worried about safety. I’d feel fine bringing my family here. Restaurants and stores are close, so I didn’t have to go far for anything. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s top of the line for business travelers or anyone who wants a clean, comfortable place to stay. Great experience!!!
