The food was my favorite part of the whole vacation with my boyfriend and his family, it was that good. Our server was really nice and knew the menu well. She suggested a great beer, cali squeeze blood orange. The French dip was amazing for the price. Definitely recommend it.

The cheese curds were my favorite, and the meal was a perfect stop on the way to Jackson Hole. I had the juicy, lean elk burger, same as my grandfather, and we both thought it was great. Grandma liked her Idaho potatoe boats, and my girlfriend enjoyed the French dip, which was very good too. We had an old fashioned, lemonade, and a snake river lager. 10/10, must stop!

We came in to carb load before a half marathon, and both the food and the staff impressed us. They were attentive and had a great sense of humor. Trent, one of the owners, came over for a chat and made us feel like we were at his home. If I'm back this way, I'll eat here again :)

It was a quiet weekday in the tourist offseason, so the place wasn't crowded. The dining room felt warm and inviting, with a rustic look, and the view from it was lovely. We stopped at Snake River Roadhouse for lunch on a beautiful winter afternoon after a short drive from Idaho Falls, and had an amazing meal. I got the burger topped with pulled pork and mac and cheese sauce, while my wife ordered the French Dip. The service was very friendly, and the newer owner greeted us as we headed out. We'll definitely make the drive to Swan Valley again.

The restaurant is now called Snake River Side Channel, formerly Snake River Roadhouse. It made for a great Sunday lunch stop, about 35 minutes from Idaho Falls on a beautiful, relaxing drive. The atmosphere was wonderful and service was great. The menu has changed, but the food was excellent. I ordered an off-menu special, easily the best French Dip I've ever had, with fantastic hand-cut fries. The Hubs had the Snake River Stampede burger and fries and loved them too. I also got a side salad with ranch. It was mostly arugula and spinach, plus a couple of things I didn't recognize. I would've preferred some Romain. It also had cucumber, tomato, and red onion, and looked appealing. I certainly recommend the restaurant for a nice Sunday drive. Sunday lunch starts at 11:30am.
