Budget Inn

It's a practical place to sleep if you're on a budget, but I wouldn't expect a polished hotel stay. The price and location were why I booked, and for me it lands somewhere in the middle: I've stayed in worse and much better. I might return for a short visit, since the AC was good, the bed decent, and the staff friendly, but it wasn't great or terrible. Getting checked in was easy. The front desk people were polite, quick, and friendlier than I expected after reading mixed reviews. The room had fresh paint, a working AC, and a bed that seemed reasonably clean. Some rooms look more updated than others, though, and upkeep seems inconsistent. Worn flooring and fixtures, old lamps, patchy paint, and spots that need a deeper clean kept it from feeling fresh. Housekeeping could be more consistent too, although I didn't have a major problem. The area is handy for restaurants, fast food, and the main road. The college and downtown are close enough without a long drive. Around the property it felt a little rough at night. I had no safety trouble myself, but wouldn't walk around alone in the dark. It felt like a place to park, go inside, sleep, and leave in the morning. The room was average for comfort. The bed was fine, the water pressure could be better, and the hallway smell was noticeable but bearable. I didn't see roaches or other bugs in my room, which was a relief after some reviews, but it sounds like rooms can vary. If you're particular, you might want to see the room first or ask for a newer or cleaner one. For one or two nights, the convenience and price make it manageable. The basic amenities worked, but anyone looking for modern rooms, pristine cleaning, or a more polished experience will probably be disappointed. Would I stay again? Maybe, for a short stay. It's an affordable, no-frills option that's just okay.
