La Casa Inn And Suites

We booked this place at the last minute for one night, and the reservation couldn't be refunded. If we could've gotten our money back, we wouldn't have stayed. The room didn't look cleaned before we arrived. We asked for it to be cleaned and the sheets changed, but were told the laundry room was closed. Someone from the front desk changed the pillowcases. That's when we saw that all the pillows were stained. There were towels in the room, but one was stained. When we asked for extras, we were told again that the laundry room was closed. The non-smoking room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. We went to Walmart for pillows, air spray, and cleaning supplies, just to try to make the night more comfortable. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.

The AC worked pretty well, and I slept comfortably. The floor seemed clean, and check-in was easy with friendly staff. WiFi was available, though the signal kept cutting in and out. It was cheap and serviceable, but I probably wouldn't stay longer than one night. There were several issues: the TV was broken, though you couldn't tell while it was off, and the fitted sheet seemed stained. The room smelled strongly of what I hope were cleaning products. The toilet tank lid didn't fit and clanged loudly when you sat down. The beds squeaked whenever you moved or got out of them.

The check-in staff were friendly, and a nice front desk employee helped us when we checked out at 7 am. We only stayed one night. The room was dirty, there were no extra towels, and the towels we had were hairy. The room smelled, the bathroom was disgusting, and we could hear fighting through the night.

I've never had an issue before, but staying there last night brought it back to mind. I tried to shower at 10 pm and the hot water seemed to be turned off. I had to wait 30 minutes before the water warmed up.
