Quality Inn & Suites

It’s an older hotel, but it was clean and well maintained. The location was wonderful, right next door to a Circlr K and within walking distance of a waffle house. It’s pet friendly and has a nice spot for dogs to run around a little. The front desk staff were helpful, the price was great, and I’d certainly stay again.

The room was clean, and having a fridge and microwave was nice. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the room was surprisingly quiet despite my expectation of highway noise. My only problems were the pillows, which were too big and not squishy enough for me, and the door, which barely caught on the latch and let light through its edge. The bolt and extra safety attachment made it work out fine. Overall, a very nice stay.

My family of four and our dog spent three months at Red Roof while we were between homes, and everyone treated us like family. We could even have a package delivered there. The staff, including the maids, were professional and polite, and the rooms were super clean with great maid service and very comfortable beds. The price was extremely fair, with a grocery market nearby and easy access to the highway. They even gave us a free night for a future stay, and we can’t wait to use it. Red Roof on Mahan is way nicer than most Tallahassee hotels, with service to match and a price that can’t be beat. These people were a blessing during a turbulent time in our life. After hours on the road while pregnant with my toddler and two dogs, I was exhausted. Four other hotels had turned us away because they didn’t take pets, were full, or cost too much. I was relieved to find this place. The front desk woman was genuinely kind about my situation. She arranged a ground-floor room, helped us park our trailer, and pointed out nearby restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, with hardwood floors and a tidy bathroom. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The AC only went down to 70°F, warmer than I like for sleeping, but that’s a small drawback next to how accommodating the staff were. This place was a lifesaver after such a stressful day, especially for families or people traveling with pets.
