We spent one night here last week while driving through the area. The room was clean and mostly in good shape, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rate was reasonable. I’d stay again. All in all, 3 of 5. A few small problems: the toilet was loose enough that it felt like it might tip forward when I sat down, though it didn’t. The flat screen TV was only 480i, not HD. Also, most bulbs in the sign by the street entrance were out, so it was a bit hard to spot.

The staff were rude and acted bothered whenever we asked a question. Housekeeping had no vacuum or towels on the cart, and the worker was eating breakfast off the cart and on their cell phone the whole time I was trying to ask something. The sheets, towels, and carpet were disgusting and dirty. Easily the worst Wingate hotel I’ve stayed at. I stay at over 30 hotels a year and have never had problems like this.

The bed was super comfortable, and the room was nice. Everyone was helpful, from the friendly and accommodating front desk staff to the considerate, attentive housekeeping staff. Great location too, and a perfect place to stay next time you visit Tallahassee.

I’d stayed here about four years ago and it was a nice hotel then, but now it’s awful. The room was dirty, the toilet backed up, the fridge wasn’t working properly, there was no hot water, and there weren’t any clean towels. Some of the staff were rude too. Very disappointed. Hated it.

The price was great for such a good hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was a nice extra, and there was free wifi throughout.
