A clean room and a great last-minute stay. Zena was amazing. The problem came when we tried to use the pullout sofa: it’s full size, but the couch kit included only a twin egg crate. That was horrible. If the room has full size accommodations, there should be enough bedding to match.

I’ve stayed here many times over the last couple of years, and this trip had the best service yet. The property is an older model for Towne Place suites, but the studios are MUCH more open and spacious. I had a few minor concerns, and general manager Scott handled them very professionally, resolving everything quickly and going above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The room smelled so bad that I wanted to leave as soon as I walked in. I turned on the AC, thinking it might not have been running for weeks. There were ants, the floor was bubbling near the toilet, and cupboards were missing in the restroom. The carpet felt disgusting and seemed to dirty my feet more in 5 minutes than walking outside barefoot. My coworker checked out within the hour. We were left trying to find somewhere else for the night, with no help from the hotel and no points or other compensation for the hours of inconvenience. I stayed overnight before a work meeting nearby. I usually wouldn’t write such a terrible review, but I contacted Marriott to try to resolve this and am still waiting for a call a week later. I’ve never been this disappointed with Marriott.

We were put in moldy rooms, 121, 122, and 124. They’d used so much air freshener that we didn’t realize it was covering up mold or mildew until it was too late to find somewhere else. There were 6 adults in my party, and we all agree the rooms were bad enough that we could taste the mold in our mouths for hours after leaving. I’ve had more than 300 stays with Marriott, maybe way more, and been loyal to the brand for 15yrs without previous complaints. I asked the general manager to contact me after we left. He didn’t call until a week later, after I contacted Marriott corporate. When he finally called, he gaslighted me and denied anything was wrong with the rooms, then offered points and a “discount.” None of us were looking for freebies. I’ve paid happily for hundreds of stays without problems. I also found out you can’t leave a review on Marriott’s website unless they send a survey, and the surveys are “reviewed” before they’re posted to the hotel website. I wasn’t sent one for this stay. I contacted a Marriott EVP of Customer Care, too, and it’s now been a week without a call back. This has raised major concerns for me about the integrity of the Marriott brand, especially when we’re talking about a place where we expect to sleep safely at night.
