Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula

We stayed in a suite with a fireplace, and loved it. The room was excellent, comfortable, and well maintained. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, too. Everyone on staff was genuinely kind and made our stay more enjoyable. The woman who checked us in was especially engaging and welcoming, all the more so on Christmas Day. We’ll definitely be back next year.

We were in town for my husband’s company Christmas party, and even though it was a short stay, we had a pleasant time at Hampton Inn. The room was very clean and quiet, with a brand new smell when we walked in. Customer service was amazing, and the staff made us feel welcome whenever we came or went.

After being a loyal customer for years, I’m hurt by how this was handled. I can’t help wondering whether our Jewish community was treated this way because of who we are. I hope that isn’t the case, but the dismissive response leaves me unable to ignore the possibility. We’ve used this meeting room for community events every few months over the past couple of years, and until now our experiences were mostly positive. At our latest booking, we held a four-hour prayer service. Only after everyone arrived did we learn the air conditioning was broken. It was 87 degrees inside, and members struggled through the service in the heat. Turnout was significantly lower the next day because people didn’t want to sit through those conditions again. We weren’t warned in advance, nobody tried to fix the problem, and my refund request was denied. I’ve called several times since, but the phone gets picked up and hung up on me. I wish I could write something different, but I need to be honest about what happened so others know.

The staff were friendly, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional, and I’m looking forward to coming back to Temecula. The hotel is handy for Old Town, with lots of free parking, clean spacious rooms, and a cozy sitting area. Rooms have a microwave, fridge, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup wipes, tea, and toilet paper. There’s a nice continental breakfast, plus a workout room and business room. Cheers.
