We planned this vacation around swimming and relaxing by the pool, and we bought groceries because the place had a kitchen. About an hour after check-in, we were told the pool would be closed indefinitely during our stay. After a lot of back-and-forth with Cozy Suites, they said we couldn’t cancel, but would compensate us for the days the pool was closed. We left right away and booked a nearby hotel, which meant throwing out some groceries since we no longer had a kitchen. The pool was still closed on what would have been checkout day. When I asked about compensation, they offered only about one fifth of the total cost. That wasn’t acceptable, so I’ll be contacting my credit card company and attorney. The parking app didn’t work either, and they said that wasn’t their problem. I’m very unhappy with the whole experience.
