La Quinta Inn Temple

Christy, the front desk manager, made me feel at home and safe as soon as I arrived. She was busy but still took the time to be patient, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Her warmth and generosity meant a lot. Thank you, Christy.

The building is a little dated, which gave me some concern at first, though it turned out there was no reason to worry. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. I’d stop here again.

We were in town for our dogs of Da Boyz Cane Corso to show at the Bell County Expo Center, and Kriste made check-in easy with a caring smile and plenty of useful information. Saily was welcoming every time we saw her. Our downstairs room had tile floors, which worked perfectly for the pets. It was very clean, smelled good, and most things looked updated. Parking was good, there were lots of nearby food choices, the pool was cleaned daily, and it was quiet. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and good. The mosquitoes were the one big problem. I killed six the first night, then ten by the third night, when I went to bed covered in Off. By day four they seemed to have gone home to restock, and I finally slept well. We kept the door closed and dashed in and out for dog potty breaks. Apart from that mosquito battle, we had a great stay and will be back next month for two more shows.

It’s easy to get around without a car, with lots of food spots and coffee shops nearby. The staff are friendly, the rooms were clean and regularly serviced, and breakfast was decent.
