Travelodge Terre Haute

The free breakfast is immaculate, and the staff are really kind. The rooms are nice for the price, too. Wi-Fi can be a bit dodgy, but everything else is pretty solid. I love staying here!

I had a decent one-night stay and would recommend the hotel to travelers. The room was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great. Breakfast was complimentary, with cereal, bread, bagels, and fresh juice. You're downtown, so there's a little street noise, but not much. I'd stay here again.

I wasn't sure about the place when I pulled up after making the reservation, but it turned out to be pretty quiet. They clean well, and the people were pleasant to deal with. The room could use a few fixes, though. The bathroom shelf in mine had been bent downward. For the most part, it's a pretty good place and a good deal.

The accessible parking space right by the door was really helpful. The curb cut is well placed and in good condition, though a gentler slope would be better. Inside the accessible room, there was plenty of room to wheel around the bed, and the shower chair was awesome. The bathtub still requires stepping in, which works for some people but not everyone. The bed is very, very tall and hard to climb into if you have mobility or strength issues, or I suspect if you're small. Check-in and check-out were smooth, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the room rates were great. Climate control was easy to use, the key system worked smoothly, and the water tasted good, so refilling bottles was easy. Breakfast was a much bigger spread than I expected: cereal, toast, a waffle maker, and bagels, plus good cream cheese and butter. The coffee was fine, though I would've liked bigger cups. They had several sweeteners, including liquid French Vanilla, and half and half, which I always look for. The TV was a nice size, and the remote worked fine once we figured it out. There was enough light, though it would've been iffy for serious academic work at the very nice table. The office chair is far too short for that table, but works perfectly with my wheelchair. The bathroom light and fan come on with a motion sensor, which I appreciate, but they're loud and bright in the middle of the night. The room and hotel were perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. The biggest concerns for me were getting into the bed and the gaps around the outside-facing room door. Light comes through by the latch and underneath when it's dark, and smoke drifts in when someone smokes.
