The staff were polite and friendly, and the hotel is easy to reach from the highway. The water was hot, but the shower was old and dated, and the sheets and linens were stained. The rooms are just okay at best. There’s no cable, only antenna TV, and the channels seem to be all home shopping networks. It’s definitely not worth the price. I used to stay here often, but I won’t anymore. I’d rather pay $170-200 a night for a decent hotel with cable, clean linens, and newer bathrooms.

The rooms were fine and clean, and the price was affordable. But the front desk woman with blond hair was rude and unwelcoming. We got there around 4 a.m., exhausted after driving more than 20 hours, and wanted to rest. When I asked if a room was available, she just gave us the first one that came up without offering any options. She was very short with us, and I felt judged.

The stay got off to a rough start, but you get what you pay for. Theresa at the front desk and Margarita were exceptional, and we’ll really miss them. What I didn’t like was that dogs were on the same side as guests without pets. The barking and smell went on all day and night, and it was exhausting.

I’m happy staying here whenever I’m in town, but this ice situation upset me. The owner said he’d give me ice from the desk, then left, and his employee told me I had to go to the hotel next door. He had said I could get ice from them. I was still in my pajamas and socks before showering, and only needed a glass of ice for cold water to get my day started. I wasn’t going next door dressed like that.

The halls smelled bad, and I saw a roach in the room. It was loud, with dogs barking and growling.
