Hampton Inn Thomasville

We travel a lot and usually choose Hampton Inns because they're dog friendly. Of all the ones we've stayed at, this Hampton Inn is our favorite. I can't think of anything negative. The desk area is especially welcoming, and its layout is appealing and unlike the other Hamptons we've visited.

The beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean, and it was pretty quiet. Staff were incredibly nice at check-in and checkout, and answered my questions kindly. My room felt old and outdated, though: the toilet seat had chipped paint and the floor seemed sticky. The parking lot also felt too small. Both nights I had to park in the lot next door.

The breakfast was good, with eggs, sausage patties, fruit, waffles, and yogurt, though nothing special. The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned: there were shaving whiskers on the bathroom sink, trash on the floor, and the toilet seat was up.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The room was very clean and had plenty of linens, the customer service was excellent, and breakfast was great with a different spread each day. One morning there were grits, eggs, and sausage; the next there was oatmeal, an omelette, and sausage, plus lots of other choices.
