Rose Garden Inn & Suites

I’ve stayed at a lot of budget hotels, and this was one of the best. My room was very clean, with no bugs, and everything worked well. Budget places often have loose outlets or shower heads and feel poorly maintained, but even though some things here may be older, the room didn’t feel that way. The location is great too, with a Circle K next door, a Mexican restaurant across the street, and lots of food nearby. I was very pleased and will stay again when I’m in the area.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with no strange smell. But this is the second time the owner has kept banging on my door until I answer, even though I’d paid for a late checkout.

I stayed at the rose garden for an extended period after a house fire, choosing it because it was close to work. It was a pleasant stay, and service was good when we interacted. The cleaning routine disappointed me, though. They tidied up each day, but that was about it. The sink, toilet, and tub weren’t wiped or sanitized unless I did it, and the floor only got swept when I took care of it. Aside from that, my stay was good.

The staff were friendly and the location convenient, but the property needs serious maintenance. There was black mold in the bathroom and baseboards were coming off. The A/C didn’t work, so we had to shorten our stay. It was noisy at night with people hanging around outside, and we had to turn the TV way up just to get some rest. We were looking forward to staying here, but it didn’t meet expectations. I wouldn’t return unless major improvements are made.
