Radisson North Denver Graystone Castle Hotel

The staff seemed to care about the money and little else. We found dirty socks on the floor, showed them to the manager, and he said there was nothing he could do about the cleanliness. Everywhere else was booked, so we stayed that night. The fire alarm kept chirping. When we told the manager, he came upstairs and tried to rip it off the ceiling, setting off the local fire department, then blamed us. Later that night the toilet flooded. He said they didn’t own a plunger and he wasn’t going to find one. We left and drove two hours out of town to find another room. They charged us for all five days and are refusing to refund us. This place needs new staff and owners. The streets seem safer than the hotel. Best,

The first room I was given hadn’t been turned over by housekeeping, according to the front desk guy. I wasn’t upset, since mistakes happen, and they fixed it quickly and simply, which I appreciated. The replacement room was comfortable and clean. The two lights on the headboard were loose, falling off, and didn’t work, but the other lamps gave the room plenty of light. I noticed police patrolling the property about twice a night, which made me feel safer. I didn’t see any tweakers or rude, sketchy people outside, and the hotel didn’t smell like weed. Despite other negative reviews, I’d stay again. Thanks, Denver North Hotel.

The place looked nothing like the photos, and we ended up relocating. The area felt unsafe, people nearby weren’t nice, and there was garbage all over outside. On arrival the staff member seemed not to care that we were there, and there were flies everywhere. Everything was dirty. The elevator barely worked and was awful to ride. I hoped the room would be better, but there were boogers on the walls, nothing was clean, the TV remote didn’t work, and each bed had only three tiny pillows. My agent called the hotel, and they gave us a full refund. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one felt necessary.

The front desk clerks were very friendly, and the hotel was easy to get into. It’s near food and convenience stores, as well as EV charging. The beds weren’t very comfortable, breakfast was bland and small, and the hot tub had no working jets.
