Crystal Sands Motel

We found this place for a last-minute extended weekend in Wildwood, and it was the only room we could find for under $200 a night. Dave, the owner, was kind, friendly, and helpful. Our room was a nice size and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pool and deck were beautiful. It has the best kind of old-school feel, like the motels I remember staying in as a kid in the 1990s, lol. It’s right by the boardwalk too. We’ll absolutely return!

Crystal Sands has a special place in my heart, and it’s the only motel I’ll stay at in Wildwood. I’ve been coming since I was a kid, every September with our car club for the Wildwood Car Show. The owners have always been the friendliest people, and the pool and rooms have always been nicely cleaned. There’s a great balcony to sit on and the boardwalk is just a few minutes away on foot. Highly recommended.

Five years later, this is still one of Wildwood’s best-kept secrets. The pool is the cleanest I’ve ever seen, the rooms are always spotless, and the staff are consistently on the ball. It’s still very family oriented, and so awesome that I come back every year. The rates are very reasonable, and it’s close to the beach, boardwalk, convention center, and Sea Shell ice cream parlor. The place is clean and comfortable, the staff are accommodating, and everyone is super friendly and family oriented. I highly recommend it and will keep returning. Love these people!

The beds were comfortable, the AC worked amazingly, and the mini fridge was handy for freezing water bottles to take to the beach. The pool is very clean, gets cleaned every night, and is just the right size, with a roped-off section for kids. The cleaning lady was lovely and brought fresh towels daily. The whole hotel is tidy, well cared for, and smells nice as soon as you walk in. Dave, the owner, was kind and helped with whatever we needed. There’s no ice machine, but there is an ice freezer, and the owner will fill your bucket for free if you ask. Ice cream shops, miniature golf, and a bagel cafe are right around the corner, with the boardwalk and beach close by too. I’d absolutely recommend this clean, family-friendly hotel. 10/10, best hotel in Wildwood, NJ.
