Kathy lives right next door, which made the place feel safe and especially good for families. She and the staff were kind and accommodating. We always had fresh towels and trash pickup, the pull-out couch was as comfortable as the beds, and the kitchenette helped keep food costs down. The location is top-notch, right by the boardwalk, with a shorter walk onto the beach than in most areas. Even with the economy, the owner has kept prices reasonable and updated several rooms since our last visit in August. After trying seven Wildwood hotels over eight years, we’ve finally found our home away from home at Horizon Motor Inn. Already looking forward to next year.

After 32 years, I decided to come back to Wildwood. Kathy, the owner, is sooo nice, and the rooms are clean and roomy. The pool is heated and very clean.

I was after a quick, easy, inexpensive overnight stay, so quality wasn’t my main concern. I’d searched for cheap rooms and filtered by ratings, and got lucky: the room was exceptionally clean, with no odd ceiling stains, strange odors, or broken items. Everything felt fresh and nicely done for its price range. The staff responded right away and were extremely helpful. I’ll absolutely be back later this summer, and recommend staying here.

We LOVE it! The room has everything you need to get ready for a wonderful day, and the place has what you need to spend time with family. I have special needs and loved it, and my wife and children enjoyed it too. It’s close to very beautiful places and spots for a night out partying.

The pool was perfect, the rooms were clean, and all the staff were welcoming and amazing. Cathy, the owner, went above and beyond to accommodate us and made our whole weekend with my husband and children excellent. This place is amazing. I’ll be back soon!
