The staff were great, but I wish we’d known the hotel was being renovated before booking. Breakfast was set up in a hotel room, and check-in took place in a small temporary space right beside it. The whole arrangement felt disorganized, and the food was poor. The heating and AC weren’t working either. The hotel should clearly tell guests about the renovation, since we probably wouldn’t have booked if we’d known.

My room was clean, comfortable, and ready for me. The staff experience, from management to reception, has been 10/10. Tony has been kind and supportive during the many months my team has stayed here. When I checked in, Fernando went above and beyond to welcome me and get my stay off to a good start. Highly recommend!

We stayed four days over fall break in a two-bedroom kitchenette room with our children. The front desk team were friendly, especially with the kids, and the kitchen staff were wonderful with our picky little ones. One evening, while we waited for laundry, a front desk employee even offered to make fresh popcorn for my 2 year old daughter, who lovvved watching it pop. The room itself worked well for our family, but the service from housekeeping and maintenance was seriously lacking. The master bedroom had no working AC from the first night. It blew hot air, not even room-temperature air. We called the desk, and someone was meant to come Sunday morning. Since it was 80-85 during the day, opening the window wasn’t a real option, so we cooled the living room and kids’ room and left the doors open. When we got back Sunday evening, all the air had been turned off. We switched it back on hoping it would cool down enough to sleep. I believe the maintenance person had several properties to tend to and couldn’t come that evening; we were told someone would come Monday. We were out all day Monday doing activities in long beach. When we returned, the air was off again, and the room was hot and uncomfortable. Room service had made only the main bed, not the children’s bed, and never left garbage bags during our stay. The small bins couldn’t hold all the rubbish from cooking. They also didn’t replace the hand soap or the shower cap my daughter used, or check the soap in the shower. I’d specifically called before our stay to ask which toiletries were provided so I wouldn’t pack things unnecessarily. I called the desk for towels and garbage bags and was told, “Oh they didn’t leave any for you?” They hadn’t left a single one. The AC still wasn’t fixed. When I got into the shower there was no body soap, so I asked my husband to call the desk and send someone up. By then I was quite angry about all the things staff had missed. Afterward I called for the third time in three days, asking for a fan or SOMETHING to keep us cool. A very nice gentleman brought a fan and said, “oh man, they still haven’t fixed that?” When I said they hadn’t, he asked if he could take a look. I said absolutely, and he tried the wall control, then confirmed the AC wasn’t working at all. We slept pretty comfortably thanks to the fan. By checkout, the air was still broken, we still had no garbage bags, and the only extra toiletries we got were the body soap we had to ask for. The front desk did what they could, but housekeeping and maintenance dropped the ball. I’d want to check the room first before coming back.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms felt cramped and were furnished cheaply, and the manager and staff were extremely rude.
