The room was very expensive for the off-season, and it wasn’t worth the price at all. It felt like a glorified motel, and my unrenovated room was musty, smelled like wet dog, and had an odor in the bathroom. A friend’s renovated room wasn’t much better. The bathroom sink was strangely outside the bathroom, and its lighting was dim and dull. Breakfast was only pastries, there was no staff at night, and the remote location is far from just about everything. The sauna also wasn’t working during my visit. I wouldn’t stay again. It felt like the Schitts Creek motel from the TV series.

The heated pool is a nice extra for colder weather, and there’s a free continental breakfast as well. The room was cozy and spacious enough for my friend and me. I loved the waterfront view, especially how epic it looked at sunrise each morning. Check out the onsite seafood restaurant, too. I can’t eat all the seafood, but there are plenty of other choices on the menu. A perfect retreat for exploring Tilghman Island.

The hotel is beautiful and unique, and the staff were wonderful to work with, professional, and easy-going. We had our wedding here, and the whole event was an amazing experience. I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beautiful place to celebrate.

We had our wedding at Wylder in October, and the whole weekend was unforgettable. The team really cares and went above and beyond for us throughout. Huge thanks to KD and all the awesome staff at Wylder. We can’t say enough good things about the venue and the AMAZING people who work there!

There was nothing open in the hotel when I arrived, and nowhere nearby to get food or a drink. The shade on the front door wouldn’t close, leaving a huge gap where someone could see in at night. Scary. I had to switch rooms, and it took a long time. They gave me an invoice showing that I’d paid, then contacted me two months later saying an audit showed they hadn’t charged my card. The letter they sent was horrible. I travel for a living and have never had anything like this happen. Unprofessional. Stay away.
