Daniel, the assistant manager, was warm and welcoming, and made sure our group had what we needed during our one-night stay. The room seemed clean, and we enjoyed sitting in the lobby while planning the next day’s riding route. We’d stay again. The mattresses were soft and spongy, which isn’t my preference since I like a firmer bed. Breakfast was a little lacking: no meat, just eggs and biscuits, along with the usual pancakes, cereal, bread, and so on.

It’s a quiet spot even though it’s so close to I-94, and I liked the accommodations and the delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly, too. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels for work, and this was one of the best.

The bathroom was clean and nice, and there’s a cute reading nook by the window in our room. It was pretty quiet despite the busy parking lot. The rooms were decent, though breakfast wasn’t very good. There’s no pool. I’d stay again.

There was a reading bench in the window, which I’ve never seen at another hotel, and it was my favorite detail. The room was a decent size, clean, and had all the amenities. I don’t understand the 2-star rating. I’ve stayed at some 3-star hotels that weren’t as good. As soon as you come in, the place feels cozy and welcoming, more like a guest house than one of those impersonal modern receptions.
