Roaches were the biggest problem, but there were plenty of others. The Choice app advertised a hot breakfast, yet there was no breakfast at all, not even coffee. The bedside lamps were rusty and outdated, with nowhere nearby to charge a phone. The microwave was disgusting and the couch was stained. The remote only changed channels, so I had to get up to switch the TV on or off and adjust the volume. I’ll never stay here again. If you’re considering it, look elsewhere.

I got bed bug bites during what was my worst hotel stay, even though I’m a Choice member. The whole hotel smelled, and the sheets and towels were stained and had hair on them. Half the lights didn’t work or were missing, and the doors were badly dented. Mine kept sticking when I tried to open or close it. There was no breakfast when I went downstairs before 8:45 a.m., despite what was advertised. The website description was misleading and the photos were deceptive. If another hotel costs a little more, I’d choose the more comfortable option.

We spent almost six months in a suite with my family, and the staff were accommodating and worked with us on payments. The two male staff members, one older who worked days and one younger at night, were always helpful and nice. It’s cozy and comfortable, though not a five-star place. The housekeeper from Honduras was friendly and always on time with fresh towels and sheets.

The outside looked well kept, but inside was awful. The upstairs doors were badly worn, and the carpet from the stairs through the entire second floor was filthy. The photos looked nothing like the place in person. Our room smelled moldy, and the broken door frame moved when I pushed the door. There was no secure latch behind it. The toilet was unsanitary, and the shower curtain was pulled back with water and pubic hair all over the shower, as if someone had just used it. After traveling until 4 a.m., my tired brother and I asked to move, even offering to take a king bed, but were told nothing was available. Only after we demanded a refund did the desk guy say a room had opened up. We still wanted the refund, but he said he couldn’t handle it at that hour, called his manager without getting an answer, and asked us to come back in the morning. We found another nearby hotel to rest. The next morning’s staff member was much nicer and helpful; he called someone and said the refund would take two days. Then we checked our banking app and saw the card had been charged twice. This was a terrible booking, and I strongly don’t recommend it.
