Isleview Motel and Cottages

Fantastic communication, and you can tell they’re proud of the place. The cottage rooms are cozy and nice, with tiny bathrooms, but they’re clean. The office has anything your cottage might be missing. The location is great too. My wife’s favorite place of the week.

We stayed in one of the four rooms in the motel-style building, a short walk from the main building. It’s a simple place, nothing flashy, but it had what we needed. The main building was stocked with extras like towels and toilet paper, plus s’more kits, firewood, and lighters for the outdoor fire pit. There was also a coffee maker, microwave, fresh spring water, and ice. I’m not sure what the cottages provide, but they looked so cute. It’s conveniently located for Acadia N.P. and Bar Harbor, and I’d stay here again if I’m back in the area.

We loved the cute cottages and how clean and quiet everything was. Bonfire supplies, including smores, were out front, and they had useful things available like umbrellas, bug spray, and snacks. The service and amenities were beyond what we’ve had at a lot of hotels. We liked staying away from the chaos of bar harbor while still being able to get to Acadia and town for dinner. Stop at Happy Clam on the way to Bar Harbor, the best roll on the island!

The fire pit out front was a great place to unwind after exploring and hiking Acadia, and there’s a great restaurant across the street with live music. This is a quaint little roadside motel with cottages, about 10 minutes from Acadia. The rooms were small, but really clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay again.
