Holiday Inn Hotel And Suites Trinidad

I usually choose Holiday inn Express when I travel because it’s reliably clean, has comfortable beds, and gives good service. This hotel was on par, and I plan to stay here again on my way back. The backside rooms are a good choice if you want quiet. My room had a minor issue: the AC wouldn’t turn on. Jeremiah was professional and polite, and he came up to try fixing it before moving me to another room, so I didn’t have to wait around. Great customer service. In the morning, Lisa Michelle greeted me with so much cheer and sunshine. That’s a lovely way to start a Monday. See you on the return trip.

The view was great, and my room was spacious. It had a shower but no tub, and the mini fridge didn’t include a freezer. Walmart is across the way, Safeway is farther up the road, and there’s a Wendy's next door.

The breakfast bar was clean, nice, and kept stocked. The location was handy for a stop during a drive, but I slept badly because the mattress was so uncomfortable I could feel its springs. The bathroom smelled musty and didn’t feel clean, and every bit of noise carried through the room. The insulation seems poor.

The hotel looked promising, so it was disappointing to find the rooms this nasty. The first one had hair all over the bed and tub, plus a ball of it on the floor. The second room had less hair, but it was still gross. The front desk guy was kind enough to give us a third room, and that one was better.
