Grand Hotel at Bridgeport

The location beside all the shops is great, and the hotel has a pleasant exterior and a welcoming lobby. Check-in was quick, with a lovely greeting at the desk. But our room smelled like it had been sprayed many times with the Sleep kit with Lavender, which I didn't like, so I slept with the window open to clear it out. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. I'm gluten-free, and there weren't any ready-to-eat options. They could bring bread from the freezer and toast it for me, so thanks for at least having that. With so little to choose from, I had cottage cheese, eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The cottage cheese smelled sour, so I tried one spoonful and stopped. The eggs and potatoes didn't sit right either, and I mentioned that to my husband. He ate different things and hasn't had any trouble. I suspect the cold unit wasn't keeping food cold enough and the chafing dishes weren't keeping it warm enough. Unacceptable. Now I'm sick on NYE, thanks.

The spacious room was clean and well furnished, and the two-person jetted tub was wonderful. Check-in was quick and easy. Their texting service makes it simple to ask for anything extra. I'd gladly stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.

My children and I had a very nice stay. The hotel was pleasant, and the accommodations were exceptionally comfortable.

The freeway is close by, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, everything was perfect: great staff, a large, comfortable suite, and good breakfasts. I'll stay here again on my next visit to Willamette valley.
