Estrella at Casino Del Sol

The pool area was a real favorite, peaceful, well kept, and a great place to unwind. We also enjoyed the excellent dining options, with something for whatever you’re craving. The casino has a lively feel and a good range of games, while still feeling upscale without being overwhelming. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable after a long day. The resort itself was beautiful and impeccably clean, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional throughout. Casino Del Sol gave me a great mix of relaxation, luxury, and entertainment. I’ll be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tucson.

The dining was a letdown. We tried a couple of restaurants and found them subpar, while the buffet was almost inedible. We ended up going to Pizza Hut on our last night. TVs kept glitching or sometimes wouldn’t work at all. The poolside setup wasn’t as advertised. Their website’s first picture showed a bar in the middle of the pool, but no such bar exists, and the bar that was there never opened. So much for the advertised poolside drinks. The cocktails were tiny and weak, too. Dealers seemed untrained, and players had to help them with the math. I spent thousands and didn’t win anything. Between that and the false advertising, I don’t want to come back.

We came up from Tucson for our anniversary and had such a good time. The restaurant on the lower level was excellent, and there was great nearby shopping. The casino had plenty of gaming options, and our room was lovely. Right from the entrance we were greeted with smiles. The check-in staff were pleasant and informative. We can’t wait to return.

There was a decent mix of machines, and the casino was an okay size. Drink prices seemed fair. My money disappeared fast, though. I hardly won anything, and I didn’t see other people hit for much either.
