Quality Inn & Suites Tucson

The jacuzzi and how well the property is kept were my favorite parts. The pool is roomy enough for plenty of people, and it doesn't give off a motel feel. The gym is modern and stylish, with better equipment than I usually see at this price. I also liked the renovated room and its layout, and check-in was simple. Our first night we got in late and found no parking at all, so we had to squeeze into a marked no-parking space. The hotel called in the morning to ask us to move the car, which was understandable. Apart from that, I'd definitely recommend 3 palms if you're passing through Tucson.

We got a room at the last minute, and the person at reception was very friendly. There was plenty of parking, and the place was clean and quiet at night despite being so close to the main road. It's a good deal for the price, though it isn't a luxury hotel. Our double-bed room had two separate areas: the beds and a large TV in one, then a big couch, another TV, microwave, mini fridge, shower, and clothes hangers in the other. The bathroom had lots of towels and was well stocked with shampoo, soap, a dryer, and other basics. The shower was beautiful. The wall thermostat let us adjust the AC freely, but most of the cool air went into the bedroom, leaving the other room warmer. The North Tucson location was convenient for stores, food, shops, a park, and other activities.

The bed was firmer than I like, which is a personal preference. Otherwise we had a good two-night stay and would recommend the place. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly, and both the spacious room and the quiet facility were clean. The location also worked well, within a reasonable distance of Biosphere 2 and Downtown Tucson.

I'm a repeat guest at 3 Palms, even though staying here makes my drive to work at Davis Monthan AFB a bit longer. The lot feels safe, as do the surroundings, and the rooms and grounds are properly looked after. The young front desk staff clearly care about the guests and the success of the hotel. You always get a smile. I don't know the daytime team, but the women working nights are so capable and caring that a five-star resort could hire them right away. I hope the people running 3 Palms recognize their tact, effort, and compassion every single shift. The hotel's success depends on guests returning and recommending it, and the staff seem to understand that. I only take the time to review somewhere publicly when it really stands out, for better or worse. 3 Palms has certainly done that, and it's somewhere I look forward to visiting.
