My fiance was in the hospital, and I’m glad I spent the night here. The beds were wonderful, and it was comfortable, peaceful, and satisfying. Beautiful accommodations, amazing staff, and a superb breakfast. Thanks for a great place. I’d stay again and again and tell everyone to go there.

The room was clean and modern, but my sister is ultra sensitive to chemical odors and had asked for no fragrant sprays or perfumed cleaners. As soon as we walked in, the cleaning solution smell was strong and she got a headache right away. After we went back to complain at the front desk, they finally decided to open the doors and make a cross breeze until the smell cleared. That took about 3-4 hours, and we had no privacy during that time. We’d reserved ahead and included the request, so why couldn’t they air the room out before my sister checked in? Do they read the special request messages?

This is a nice, clean, inexpensive motel, and the rooms have recently been refurbished. The complimentary breakfast is quite good, and there’s a light rail stop nearby that’s currently free to ride. The parking lot sits along the dry bed of the Santa Cruz river. In monsoon season, when it rains, it turns into a raging river, which is exciting to watch.

We were there during the gem show, when finding rooms can be difficult, and the manager Annalisa and the front desk girls made sure we had a place the whole time. My dad and I stayed for 9 days while my mom was in the nearby hospital. We were extremely satisfied with the rooms, location, and especially the staff. The rooms were clean and nice, with what looked like a recent remodel, and the beds were comfortable. It was reasonably quiet despite all the activity. We’d definitely come back if the need arises.
