The room cleaning could be better. After housekeeping finishes, the head housekeeper should check the room too. A second set of eyes is always helpful, speaking from experience. Amy at the front desk is AWESOME! ERIC is great too, always making us laugh, and Rene is a badass who knows his job and does it well. They’re a good team. Thanks to the front desk staff for making our stay that much better.

The staff were fine, but the beds were awful. The comforter and sheets were really thin, and the pillows were tiny and useless. When we asked for more pillows, the staff wouldn’t give us any. There was also a disturbance in one room on our first night, and four police officers showed up. The TV didn’t work either. This hotel was garbage, and I won’t stay here again.

The room was clean, and the daytime front desk guy and the maids were very nice. The beds were hard, though, and the night clerk talked so loudly that it sounded like he was in our room. I called and asked him to quiet down, but he didn’t seem to care.

I’m looking forward to staying there again next Thanksgiving. Amy Howard made my stay at the Red Roof Inn in Marana excellent. She was organized and confident, and went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of properly. She’s clearly a real asset to the company.

A quick tip from my several stays here: book ahead online or by phone if you want check-in to go faster. The team has always been professional, friendly, and ready to help. For a hotel in its class, this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. It’s reliable and excellent, and I’ll keep coming back.
