We didn't stay overnight, and took photos of everything. The mattresses were stained underneath, and looked extremely unsanitary. We couldn't let our kids sleep on them. When my husband asked for another room, they said they couldn't promise it would be any cleaner. We tried to sort this out with the property before leaving, and are now working through customer service to get a refund. I hope management responds publicly and makes this right. There was visible blood on the sheets, and the tables and other surfaces needed disinfecting. I asked the front desk for clean sheets and disinfectant, but they couldn't provide either. I tried wiping things down with my child's baby wipes. When we requested management's contact information, they told us to "use Google." We asked if management could call us and were told no. Basic cleanliness and professionalism should be standard at any price. This was unacceptable. Edit: I added photos. Management hasn't responded.

The room was quiet even though it was near the freeway, the air conditioner worked, and the beds were soft. I checked the mattress and saw no signs of bed bugs. Check-in was quick and easy. But there was used soap by the sink and in the shower, and the washcloth had been used too. The bathroom had no door. The only towel was a bathmat, so I was glad I'd brought my camping towel. The fridge hadn't been cleaned, and the nicely made beds had sheets but no blankets. The front desk lady brought one that another guest had asked for, and luckily I got it.

The manager brought a great energy to the property, and the housekeeping staff generally did a solid job. I found it comfortable enough for a two-month stay, and two housekeepers helped me out a lot. One other housekeeper didn't seem to care about her job. I liked cleaning my own room to save the staff work, but getting supplies was surprisingly difficult. My rates went up a lot when the Gem Show started, even though I'd been a loyal guest for 60 days. There was no set price or consideration for long-term residents, and I ultimately had to leave because it became unaffordable. The manager was lovely, but I wish there'd been more personal engagement or check-ins during my long stay, or maybe just a smile. It's a pleasant enough place for a short trip, but expect event-season price hikes regardless of how long you've stayed.

I was here 20 years ago, and it seemed nicer then. The kitchen isn't fully equipped, so bring dish detergent, cups, paper towels, and your own supplies. When I asked, I got two plates and a few cooking utensils but no pans. There were only two hangers, and management wouldn't give me more. Room service didn't happen unless you begged, and I ended up getting it just one day.

Parking was great, and the area was quiet even with the cops doing business on the property. But you're on your own for dishes at this Studio 6. I got a toaster, at least. The toilet doesn't flush very well, and bring Febreeze, you'll need it. The floor had no carpet, which meant I had to wash it myself. Halfway through, the water in my bucket was darker than the floor. I bleach-washed the whole room. Nothing like walking around with black feet. Welcome to Motel 6!
