Executive Inn

Terrible staff and management, with poor catering too. I’ve never seen a hotel run this badly.

The room is luxurious in its own way. The lampshades all have their own cracks and holes, and I love the stains on the floor and sheets because they give the place character. The little handprints on the wall look like a cute design. My only issue is that the pictures don’t line up with the beds, but I can fix that. I love this place.

A cockroach came out from the mattress and crawled onto the wall behind the bed while my buddy and I were checking the sheets and mattress. We’d already seen reviews about bed bugs and squashed bugs on the walls, and thought there might be some in our room too. We didn’t want to sleep there. The gentleman we spoke to was kind enough, and we asked for a refund. He tried three times to send us to another room upstairs before giving it to us. I don’t think anyone meant harm, but the bugs were too much.

We had to fiddle with the heater for a while before it would turn on, and then the hot water ran out. I’ve never had that happen at a hotel. The carpets were filthy, and the non-smoking rooms had cigarette burns everywhere. It’s very old and dirty. When we arrived there were no towels, washcloths, or toilet paper, and it took forever to get anything. The manager seemed very unhappy when we asked for towels. The price was good, but the room and service still weren’t worth it. I won’t stay here again.
