The room itself was pleasant, clean, and had what I needed for the trip. Staff were generally friendly, and I liked the coffee. For a quick stay, it's a decent spot, but my ten-night visit exposed some gaps. The pool stayed closed the whole time, even though it was one of the reasons I booked, and the gym felt like an afterthought, a pretty depressing one. Breakfast was only okay for a night or two, and disappointing over a longer stay. As a vegetarian, I found the hot options poor: watery scrambled eggs and dry potatoes. The bananas were always black, the apples had no taste, and the fruit medley was canned fruit in a bowl. The bakery was fine, but it would've been nice to have brown bread as well as cheap white bread. Juice wasn't fresh, and there were no non-dairy milk or yogurt choices. I asked reception about non-dairy milk and other vegetarian hot food, and was simply told “no.” The suite had a microwave, but no other kitchen appliance. A kettle and some teas would've been useful, especially for a longer stay.

Being close to the museums we visited and right by the BOK Center made getting around easy. We parked once and didn't need the car again until checkout. The room was decent and clean, and we didn't hear traffic or people using the elevator. The front desk clerk helped us with parking and check-in, and someone came up right away when we couldn't get the TV working. I found the pillows too soft and would've preferred a thicker blanket. I'd stay here again.

There were only three towels for four of us, and at 8 a.m. there wasn't any coffee. When I asked the front desk person how to get some, she said absolutely nothing and walked around the corner to the kitchen. She seemed irritated with the kitchen staff. I think the pool guy is her husband, and their daughter was sitting alone in the dining area looking sad. Two employees had their children at work with them. We couldn't swim at 9 a.m. because they said they'd just added pool chemicals and told us to come back in a few hours. When we returned at 5 p.m., a sign said the pool was being cleaned. A different front desk clerk explained the chemicals hadn't been added correctly, so it wasn't open. She offered a sister hotel nearby, but we declined. There was hair in the beds, shower, and on the walls by the bed. The second-floor housekeeping laundry room made that hall very noisy, and carts crowded the area around the elevator. The parking lot was small, and they charged us $20 a day to park at the hotel where we were staying, in a town that seemed partly deserted, rundown, and short on signs of life. I usually stay at Hamptons and Hiltons, and this was a big disappointment, below average by my standards. I won't return to this location. I understand that as a mom you sometimes have to do what you have to do, but bringing children into a professional workplace setting isn't appropriate. I also understand hospitality, having worked as a regional manager for Wyndam Hotels. My family and I were disappointed as guests.

The friendly, helpful front desk staff made a good impression, and there are enough places to eat within walking distance. If you're in town for a BOK event, the location is hard to beat, just across the street. Our room was roomy enough, comfortable, clean, and felt safe, with key cards needed to use the elevators. Noise was about average for a hotel, depending on your neighbors. The garage is behind the hotel but separate from it, and parking adds $20 per night to the room price. Breakfast is the usual filling buffet, useful for saving money but nothing special. A solid all-around stay for a visit.

Alandra at the front desk was so kind to me during a sad time. I'm grateful for her words, and she's wonderful. This was my first stay at this Hampton Inn in downtown Tulsa. The location is very nice, with restaurants, bars, and events nearby. I've been a Hilton Honors member for 15 years and highly recommend joining. I'm not a fan of paying for parking, though you often don't have a choice in downtown areas. Highly recommend. AAAAA. Happy New Year 2026.
