The guy at the front desk charged me $70 to stay from 8am until 11am, saying otherwise there'd be an early check-in fee. The rate and charges were laughable. Maybe it was because I arrived in a clean vehicle instead of carrying smelly bags of trash or trying to bring a bicycle into the room. Who knows. The room had a sheet-only bed and I couldn't find a pillow. Roaches and flies seemed ready to greet me, and the whole place made me worry about staying clean and healthy. If anyone's missing nearby, they should look under the front desk where that sketchy guy is. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

At 9:45 pm, after my emergency was over, I came back to pay the $20 I'd been quoted for an extra guest for the day and night. I rang the bell and called for a while, then had to get my roommate. When we returned to the bell, the manager finally answered and charged us $40 instead. I asked what the charge was for, and she went back on what she'd said earlier that morning. We were charged $40 just to access our room and our belongings, and I worried about what could happen to my medical service dog if I'd had less money. That $40 was meant for gas and dog food, with anything left over for my own food. Now my roommate loses his job because I have no gas money, my service dog stays hungry, and I don't eat. Thanks for your hospitality, ma'am. We were given a filthy room, and the first night there was no hot water. When I complained, the man laughed and said it was summer, so I didn't need hot water. Nobody told us about the visitor policy until after we'd had visitors and they demanded money. I later had an emergency and left in the room for a few hours the girl helping me put things on Marketplace. She'd just gotten a tattoo, and her artist supposedly came by for a cigarette and to see how it was healing. The manager said she'd seen them, but hadn't taken a picture of them leaving my room. I trust my friend much more than the manager, and believe the tattoo artist wasn't in the room, only the visitor. I'll update when we leave on the 30th, if we're not extorted or kicked out for this review.

The room had roaches, and I found bedbugs as I was leaving. Of course, there was no refund. I should've given up on this place and stayed at one of the hotels next door. The building is old, needs remodeling, and looks nothing like its online pictures. The other guests seemed to be renting by the week or month. I'll never stay there again.

We've stayed here twice a month and appreciate the small discount for returning guests. The lobby is clean, and the people taking reservations and checking us in are always polite and nice. I've also seen the office guy walking around the property to make sure nothing's going on. Last time, a group of about 12 people were outside, but they all went in when it got late. For $46 a night, you get what you pay for. My husband and I live nearby and know the area, so people outside don't really worry us. We aren't expecting a luxury room. Our room, 111, doesn't smell bad, the bed is clean, and there are no bedbugs, which is a plus. A few small fixes would help: stickers on the bathroom mirror could be removed, the broken blow dryer tossed, and the curtains hung properly. I hope they open the pool, too. It could bring in more business.

I just wanted a shower and some sleep, but instead I got screwed. I made two separate reservations within 24 hours and lost over $100 on each. Before booking, I asked both hotels if they had a room available and was told yes. When I got there, neither had an open room. Let's see if they keep their word. If I don't get a call tomorrow, I'm calling someone to complain about them taking my money. The reviews about the rooms being left nasty don't help either.
