The waffles alone were rich, thick, and some of the best I’ve had. But what really stayed with me was how kind everyone was, from check-in to helping us move to a room nearer the stairs. I travel often for work and stay in plenty of hotels, and this was the most caring, customer-focused place I can remember. The owners and their family seem genuinely proud to welcome people. I left feeling peaceful and refreshed. Thank you.

The building is showing its age, but the spaces were clean and looked after, and the staff were kind and helpful. Ice and vending were available whenever we needed them, along with dark, bold coffee. Thanks for a great stay.

We found the location handy for visiting several friends and family over the holidays. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, and the price was comfortable.

The staff were polite and friendly, but the room problems made this a rough stay. Our key for room 200 wouldn’t open the door. The employee tried it himself, got the same result, then moved us to room 203, which worked. We were tired, so the dated room didn’t bother us much, and it was clean with no odd smell. I slept reasonably well after a shower, though the water pressure was extremely weak at both the sink and shower, the hot water could’ve been warmer, and the short curtain let water onto the floor. The pressure was so low it didn’t make much of a mess. In the morning, I noticed the carpet felt damp. We hadn’t spilled anything, so I suspect condensation from the AC. The next morning at home, my wife had about 20 red marks on her skin that looked like bed bug bites. We travel a lot and have never had this happen before. It feels awful, and I hope we didn’t bring any home.
