Southern Comfort Hotel

You get what you pay for, I guess. There was no microwave, the blanket had burn holes, and someone had left a bag of trash in the bathroom. We had no towels or toilet paper, and the shower and, really, nothing else seemed clean. The wires on the door lock were exposed.

My room was in the middle of renovation, but it was still more than adequate. The price and location near a moto repair spot were priceless, and getting to park my moto inside the lobby brought a grateful tear to my eye. If the local flavor puts you off, maybe Tulsa isn't for you. I'd definitely recommend waffle house for breakfast! 🥴

There are eight trash containers by my room, so flies are a constant problem. People are fighting here at all hours, and there's a lot of drug activity at the motel and in the neighborhood. I get up for work at 330 am and don't return until 5pm, but the drugs and police officers are always here. I've been here two weeks and my toilet stopped up. The front desk said I had to wait, so two days later I went to dollar general and bought a plunger. I have no shower curtain, black mold, and no TV, microwave, or fridge in the room. There's no laundry mat nearby either. At 60 dollars a night, it's hardly worth it.

We left in under five minutes and found a different hotel for 80 bucks that was 10 times better. The 55-dollar deal wasn't worth it. The room looked nothing like the picture, the floor was sticky, and the last guest's trash was still there. There were about 30-40 people hanging around in different spots across the property and parking lot, which made the place feel very sketchy.
