There’s a decent free breakfast, and the rooms are okay, though the beds aren’t very comfortable. The pool isn’t open, and people are walking around the street and parking lot at all hours. There’s also a sign saying visitors aren’t allowed. They’ll steal your deposit, too.

The outside felt sketchy, and I didn’t feel safe. The front desk woman was extremely rude and carelessly tossed my cards, license, and other things around. The pool was closed, and although the website advertised a continental breakfast, there was nothing when we went down at 8 AM. It had all been put away. The whole stay was uncomfortable and disappointing, especially for solo female travelers. Stay at your own risk.

The young woman at the front desk was kind and did the best she could. She isn’t the manager or housekeeper, and she deserves positive recognition. I’m sure she was as frustrated as we were, but she tried to help with what she had. We travel for business and stay in hotels more often than at home, and this was one of the most disgusting places we’ve ever stayed. The first room had a towel inside the toilet, another on the floor, and a shower that looked unclean. We told the front desk, and she apologized and moved us. The second room was even worse. The floors were filthy, and when we reported it, the housekeeper came with a broom, handed it to us to sweep, and told us to bring it back when we finished. There were dirty handprints and smudges in the bathroom, a strange splooge substance on the shower, a bloody broken nail by the sink, no glass plate for the microwave, and about six unused condoms in a drawer. It looked like nobody really checked the rooms they called clean. We tried to overlook things, but this was too much. We don’t have high standards, but if you expect the room to have been touched with cleaning solution, don’t stay here. We’ll never return. We’d have requested a refund right away if we hadn’t booked through a third-party app. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

For the money, thumbs up overall. The price was $87 on some days and $75 on others. The staff were nice and helpful, the manager/owner was a good guy, and I like Mr Pete & Angie. The decor was nice, and the TV and internet reception were decent. Breakfast was okay, though the muffins were trash. There was no coffee machine or phone in the room, and the sidewalks, doors, and floors need cleaning. One staff member was rude and obnoxious. I got room #000 after my friends stayed in it the previous weekend. I’d left some food there during their visit and was hoping it would still be around. It was: the Two Egg McMuffins were still in the microwave, and the orange juice and pancakes were still in the fridge. The maid didn’t speak English, but she speaks $.. I gave her $10 to help clean the room when I arrived.
