Tumon House

There’s plenty of space in the room, and the bathroom was decent. It’s not a fancy place, though, so keep your expectations there. I once left the balcony door open by mistake, and a lizard got into my drink. I only spotted it when I went back for another sip 🤮🤮. The receptionist kindly came up and removed it herself. The room feels a bit dated, but it was still cozy enough for what you get.

The building is in a nice area, and the space in front was clean. Inside, though, it could use an upgrade. The lobby and front desk were both quite dim, even though there was nice decor that more lighting could have shown off. Only one of the elevators was working, and the other had an out-of-order sign. The walk through the building felt warm and smelled a little. The view out the back window was dirty, and the surface looked so slippery that I wouldn't want to walk on it. The furniture could be updated, but it was still in use. The rooms themselves were clean and neat. It’s suitable enough for a stay, but the building could use improvements all around.

I was there only a few hours during a transit stop. The hotel was okay, though the building is old and needs major renovation. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. One person even offered to drive me to Guam Premier Outlets, but she was on shift. They also helped me call a taxi. I hope they renovate, though prices could go up from the current under $100.
