The Premium suite was spacious, clean, quiet, and beautiful, and the location made it easy to walk to food, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel has a striking, luxurious look that feels timeless. The staff were attentive and pleasant, especially Ayanna at the front desk. She went out of her way to make sure the accommodations I requested went beyond what I expected.

Madelyn handled a room problem during this visit without making it a hassle. She found me another room quickly and brought over a luggage cart to help with the move. That’s the kind of courteous, solution-focused service you hope for when something goes wrong. I’m a diamond member and have seen customer service vary a lot, but she gave me top-notch care. I’ve stayed at the Embassy four times since its remodel, and it’s been spacious and clean each time.

The breakfast was good, but for what this place costs I expected more. The floor in my room was kind of dirty, and the shower head barely had enough water to rinse off. Housekeeping came into my room without knocking, which felt very rude. Some front desk workers were great, while others were rude. It was an okay stay, but the rooms need better cleaning.

The evening social was a real highlight, with several local beers to choose from and a bartender who seemed to love her job. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I can remember, especially the tasty omelet station and all the other choices. We were visiting the University of Alabama, and the hotel was handy for bars, restaurants, and stores. Our room had a nice layout, and the beds were comfortable and quiet. I hope we get to stay here again.
