The price wasn't bad, but I'd spend extra and stay somewhere safer. There was drug activity and riffraff, dirty floors, and loud, disruptive people on the upper floors slamming doors. When I complained, I was told the noise ordinance was 10 p.m. Housekeeping only came once every 14 days. If you don't like that, Melissa, the general manager, will tell you to leave, and she was rude. Everyone else was rude too, except MS Gina, who was the only reason I stayed. They wouldn't let me post a negative review.

During our extended stay, the staff got to know us, and I got to know some of the other residents. It started to feel like my own little neighborhood. Melissa and everyone on staff have been wonderful. They know me by name, ask about my work, my hubby's work, and our kids, and they genuinely seem to care about the people staying here. I really can't ask for more.

The front office is full of sweet ladies, and the staff made us feel at home. They were flexible when we needed to check out and then check back in a few hours later. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The TV was the one annoyance: I had to keep resetting it to get the guide working or change channels.

I ❤️ it here. It’s such a peaceful place to stay, and I felt good about the safety of the guests. Shalom, I thank Most High and Jesus Christ for providing me with a stay at axtended Stay America select suite in Tuscaloosa AL. The receptionist and workers were professional, kind, and patient. My room was sanitized and everything was in order when I arrived. This is the place you would want to be.

The whole staff deserves a mention, and Mrs. Gina is amazing. We bonded over our shared love of fur babies.
