The location was fine, in a safe area and near lots of restaurants and points of interest. But this is definitely a budget motel, so you get what you pay for. Their "free breakfast" is coffee, tea, and packaged muffins. They also took a $50 incidental fee that wasn't mentioned on the booking website. Annoying, though I did get it back about four hours after checkout.

Cristy wrote this review after a business stay. The front desk staff and manager were very friendly, and I liked the lobby setup with frozen treats, ice cream, coffee, and places to sit. The location worked well, near Texas Roadhouse and Walmart. The pillows were great, and having no carpet was a plus. I just wish the outlets were better, like USB lamps, and that there were nicer coffee pots.

We never got to stay in the room because I slipped, fell, and hit my head hard enough to need a hospital visit. The managers were very concerned and called to check on me. They were also accommodating and let my truck stay there until I could pick it up. Five stars.

The bedbugs were the first big problem. I took photos as soon as I saw them in my room and tried calling the front desk, but none of the phones worked. I walked down and spoke with a different woman, who apologized and moved me to another room. If one room has bedbugs, though, more than one probably does. This past weekend I checked into four rooms for students traveling to a competition. The woman who checked us in was confusing and rude. My card was supposed to cover incidentals only, because the university had paid for the rooms through its booking system. Instead she tried charging more than $800 across several cards, which disrupted getting the kids checked in because Zelle wasn't sending money between accounts automatically. She assured me the charges would drop off, but they didn't. After waiting a couple of days, I called back. The same woman was rude again, had repeatedly misunderstood me, and blamed me instead of helping fix the charges and use the right cards. I'm a volunteer, not paid to take students on trips, and that unexpected charge drained my account. I can't buy groceries today as a result. At least one room had a broken iron, and the ironing board didn't work, so students had to borrow mine before the competition. My own board was crooked and wobbly, and the photos I provided showed mystery stains that looked like blood. Avoid this place for bedbugs, broken equipment, and rude service.
