Best Western Plus Ahtanum Inn

The room was nice, breakfast was included, and we had a very quiet stay. I booked a queen room for my husband, our small dog, and me, and the front desk employee was super nice. My one complaint is the bathroom layout. The door was very tight to open and close, and getting in meant squeezing toward the vanity. There isn’t much space for a larger person or someone with a disability. It would be fine if the door opened the other way. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

The pool looked murky and had an odd color, and I hadn’t realized the hotel was next to a truck stop. At check-in, there was no water or thank-you for my Best Western elite membership. The iron was attached to the board with a security cord, so using it felt like ironing with a bungee cord. There were multiple locks on the balcony door, too. I’ll think of it as a Motel 6 before staying here again.

The made-to-order omelets at breakfast were excellent, and the front desk staff were great. I was surprised by how nice this hotel was, even though it’s almost in a truck plaza. One of the nicest BW hotels I’ve stayed at, especially for the price.

We had a great stay in a suite. Everything worked properly, the room was very clean, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, and special thanks to Melisa, Shelly and Ruben in the kitchen. The hotel staff were friendly, and we felt almost at home. We’ll definitely come back.
