The building had a great atmosphere, and the apartments looked beautiful, clean, modern, and well-kept. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the tour feel comfortable and positive. I had a really good visit and recommend checking out Yugo if you’re looking for a place to live.

The full-size appliances were a real plus, and the stay was comfortable. It’s set up like a large efficiency apartment, with a full-size washer and dryer that my college-age daughter used to get a bunch of laundry done. The galley kitchenette had a range, microwave, and full-size fridge. Parking was free in a small lot right outside the building. A couple things to know: it’s usually quiet, but a nearby fire department means you may hear sirens at night. Also, the horizontal blinds let in a lot of light, so bring an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper.

The garage gate has kept breaking since last semester, and the front gate still hasn’t been fixed. That means driving all the way around to the back entrance, which can be difficult when cars are entering and leaving through that one small gate. There’s also a large opening on the side of the parking area that still hasn’t been replaced. Anyone could walk in from the sidewalk, so I don’t feel safe parking my vehicle there. This is ridiculous when I’m paying $99 a month for parking.

The gym is modern and nice, the main leasing area looks good, and the bakery always leaves a great smell. The amenities are nice and the staff are friendly. Still, management is terrible and seems focused on getting as much money as possible from college students. My apartment wasn’t fully clean when I arrived, with dust and the previous person’s Chapstick still there. The four-bedroom living room is tiny and has cheap furniture, and the bedroom feels small for the price. The pool was “broken and still to be fixed” for the entire year of my lease. Without the location, I’d live somewhere else.
