Red Roof Inn Utica

I’ll keep staying because the workers have been more helpful than management. At check-in, I had to point out room issues to Lisa. Sherry was extremely helpful at checkout and also handled the situation with Jeannete. Thanks to Sherry, Jeanette, and Lisa.

The rooms are always tidy and clean, and the staff are wonderful. Red Roof Inn in Utica feels like a second home when my humans travel back and forth between Canada and Boston. They’re welcome here at no extra charge!

I only needed somewhere to stay because of the weather, and the room gave me no reason to want to return. There was a pillow on the floor when I arrived, long hair all over the inside of the towel I went to use, and the area under the bed was disgusting. There was trash and food debris, and it looked like the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in months. Both women at the lobby desk were nice, respectful, and welcoming, but the room was filthy.

The power went out for about 6 hours, but they still refused to let me cancel and go somewhere else. The rooms were dirty, and I had to switch rooms 3 times, yet I still itched all night. The person at the front desk was the rudest, and one staff member had her kids and grandkids running and screaming around the small lobby. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t recommend.
